Hello Again

Hello? Is this thing on?

It’s been a while, to say the least. But I’m very excited to let you all know that I’m back, and so is Crumbs & Nibbles. After a multi-year hiatus I’ve now graduated college and have a year and a half as a Real Adult Human under my belt, working in exactly the field you might expect if you’ve been here for any time at all: food media. And while I love my job and feel very lucky to have landed in a place that allows me to spend my days waxing poetic on my current snack obsessions, developing recipes for fun frozen bevs, and testing, like, ten different air fryers to find the very best one, I’ve so missed having a space to write and reflect and develop recipes that’s entirely my own. 

With that said, now felt like as good a time as ever to venture back into this little world I created when I was 13—which I’m just now realizing was 10 years ago this March. Flipping back through old posts as I look towards what the future holds for this blog has been a wild experience. There’s so much life captured in the 99 (!) entries on this site, and I am forever thankful to my past self for the recipe- and story-strewn timeline I’ve left behind. 

So now, in this 100th post (kismet? Must be), I’m officially turning the lights back on here at Crumbs & Nibbles HQ—with a few key changes. The biggest of these is a switch in platforms: While this blog and its archive of stories and recipes will stay put, I will be sharing all new recipes and musings over on Substack in the format of a monthly newsletter. As such I will be migrating this email list over there, so there’s no need for you to go resubscribe. If you no longer wish to hear from me (hey, I get it—I’ve been gone almost 3 years), feel free to hit unsubscribe at any point. But if you’re as excited about this relaunch as I am, I’d love it if you would share it with your friends as I start to rebuild this little community from the ground up.
